Supplying trade only with bespoke & volume manufactured Joinery, Door sets and Staircases.
This role is offered as a flexible permanent contract. The organisation would be looking for a minimum of 15 hours per week, with a maximum of 40 hours per week, and overtime upon request. The core hours of the business are 07.45 – 16.30 Mon – Thurs & Fri 07.00-13.00.
Stairways is seeking a qualified to Level 3 or time served bench joiner to join its Door Division manufacturing team based at the organisations head office location, Southam, Warwickshire CV47 0FA.
This role is pivotal for the product of bespoke elements of the organisation’s product offering. A typical project could consist of manufacturing a timber glazed screen, a hardwood ledged & braced door, a mortised & tenoned Hardwood gate, to name a few. You will be responsible for selecting timber, drafting the design & crafting the product using traditional woodworking machinery and modern-day CNC techniques. (Training can be provided for CNC knowledge).
Within the product environment a wide range of machinery, and finishing facilities are available.
Working within your own department, although very much part of the Southam production team, based on the production floor, the ideal candidate will be interested in upskilling and passing knowledge to less experienced team members.
