Hours: 8.30-5.00 Mon-Thursday, 8.30-3.00 Friday

Responsible for: Presenting schedules and quotation to customers exacting standard in accordance with Stairways brands and building regulations

Remuneration/ Package details:

Forming part of the commercial team within a successful well-established Midlands based privately owned company. Paying attention to detail working with Stairways ESTA & other manufacturing software packages to cost & design products in accordance with range and specification. Based in an open plan office environment co ordinating approaches with commercial colleagues.

Key role and responsibilities

  • Read and understand client drawings (Architects pack, General Arrangement, schedules etc) to produce & present quotations in accordance with the organisation’s product offering & operating guidelines.
  • To produce quotations using the company’s estimating system, in accordance with current certification & building regulations.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries over MS Teams Voice, Video and email.
  • Evaluate customer’s specifications for compliance with regulations and Stairways standard offering and be able to provide customer with suggestions for specification to suit their budget and maximise opportunity.
  • Promote full group product portfolio to new and existing customers.
  • Collaborating with commercial team and field colleagues.
  • Actioning various departmental objectives, ISO 9001 – feedback questionnaires, performance reporting and such like.

Essential/Desirable skills & experience include:

  • Work experience within similar role would be advantageous, although product training will be given although a reasonable amount of knowledge of the organisation’s portfolio products would be an advantage
  • Ability to project manage orders through to delivery
  • Ability to work towards designated personal and team targets
  • Be an active member of the Commercial team.

1st interview will be conducted on MS Teams

2nd Interview in person

3rd Interview – if applicable with Director Team Basic skills testing to be performed at time of employment offer.

*Subject to 3 months employment before being enrolled into schemes.
