Stairways Midlands supplied a range of elegant Ecomercial bespoke door sets for a luxurious private home in Buckinghamshire. The project involved providing both single and double feature-panelled internal doors, with a total project value of nearly £50k.
The work was commissioned by Crystal Clear Building Solutions Ltd, a well-established building company. It is a great example of Stairways’ ability to deliver tailored door sets, meeting a specific design brief while remaining compliant with fire safety legislation.
This bespoke residential project was a high-end, private home located in the heart of Buckinghamshire. Combining contemporary style with classic detailing, the home exemplifies bespoke luxury.
The main contractor for this project was Crystal Clear Building Solutions Ltd, led by Managing Director David Ferns. Established in 2011, CCBS is based in Beaconsfield and operates primarily across the South West, Home Counties, and West London.
CCBS offers a fully integrated design and build service, with a well-earned reputation for quality, reliability, and elegant construction.
This was the first collaboration between Stairways and Crystal Clear Building Solutions Ltd, following a recommendation from a carpentry sub-contractor.
The client required a selection of doors and linings in keeping with the design and aesthetics of this impressive home. Working with the project’s Interior Designer, Stairways Midlands provided custom-designed Ecomercial door sets, supplied with bespoke feature beading profiles and antique bronze ironmongery.
One of the key challenges of this project was meeting the client’s design vision without compromising on fire safety. The internal doors standing 2400mm tall – significantly taller than standard doors – with recessed panels and bespoke beading, while still achieving FD30 fire certification.
Stairways delivered door sets that met performance standards without compromising design. The addition of bespoke bronze ironmongery completed the look.
The supply and installation process ran smoothly, with Stairways offering expert advice and full support throughout and beyond the project.
