Malabar by Spitfire Homes is situated on the rural edge of Daventry, and is a showcase of new and sustainable two- to five-bedroom homes, designed to meet Zero Carbon Ready standards, with features including Solar PV panels, battery-ready provisions, air source heat pumps, and EV charging points.
Malabar will also incorporate 50 acres of open space, a new school, nursery community centre and food and retail units.

Having collaborated with Spitfire Homes on three previous collections, Stairways was the chosen manufacturer for doors on this new project, supplying internal pre-finished oak Cottage-style doors for every home in the first phase, including the three show homes and the Customer Suite.
Stairways will also continue to work with Spitfire Homes to supply doors for the second phase of Malabar, and more projects are in the pipeline.
Mike Smith, Senior Site Manager at Spitfire Homes, has been awarded with the prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Award and Seal of Excellence, for his work at Malabar, Daventry.
The NHBC Pride in the Job Award honours site managers for demonstrating outstanding standards of construction and site management, with his win placing Mike among the top professionals in the field.
